Temporary Recruiter (Maternity Leave Coverage)

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Recruiter to join a Human Resources team on a short-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in high-volume recruiting and sourcing, particularly within the call center or insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple roles and departments, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles, including conducting intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and role requirements
  • Proactively source candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), referrals, and other recruiting channels
  • Screen and assess candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
  • Track and report recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on hiring progress
  • Conduct in-person and video interviews with candidates
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on the interview process status
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of internal, high-volume recruiting experience is required
  • Experience in the auto insurance and/or Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with Predictive Index (PI) assessments is a plus
  • Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Proficiency in using an ATS and other recruiting tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
