Temporary Recruiter (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Temporary Recruiter to join a Human Resources team on a short-term basis to cover maternity leave. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in high-volume recruiting and sourcing, particularly within the call center or insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the full-cycle recruitment process across multiple roles and departments, ensuring a seamless and efficient hiring experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for high-volume roles, including conducting intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, timelines, and role requirements
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), referrals, and other recruiting channels
- Screen and assess candidates for skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS
- Track and report recruiting metrics, providing regular updates on hiring progress
- Conduct in-person and video interviews with candidates
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on the interview process status
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of internal, high-volume recruiting experience is required
- Experience in the auto insurance and/or Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry is preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Predictive Index (PI) assessments is a plus
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficiency in using an ATS and other recruiting tools
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
