Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and a strong ability to tailor insurance solutions to meet unique client needs.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

As a Personal Lines Account Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Marketing new business by analyzing client risk factors, preparing quotes, and presenting proposals via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Managing policy changes, Agent of Record changes, and ensuring accurate documentation in AMS360.
  • Conducting thorough renewal reviews, identifying coverage changes, and re-marketing policies when necessary.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance client insurance programs with additional coverage options.
  • Maintaining consistent and detailed communication with clients and prospects throughout the quoting and renewal processes.
  • Handling billing processes, including creating agency bill invoices and ensuring timely payment collection.
  • Providing prompt, accurate, and courteous service to clients.
  • Managing claims by notifying insurance companies and ensuring efficient resolution.
  • Attending Realtor and other professional organization meetings/events to foster relationships with referral sources.
  • Staying informed about agency E&O guidelines and participating in carrier training opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications/Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of experience in a fast-paced retail insurance agency.
  • Possession of a Florida General Lines 2-20 License (a 20-44 License will be considered with a commitment to obtaining a 2-20).
  • Proficiency with agency management systems (experience with Vertafore’s AMS360 is preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
