Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This is a remote position with occasional in-office requirements (once a quarter) for candidates within driving distance of the location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, particularly in the insurance industry, and a proven ability to manage large accounts effectively. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a boutique agency that provides access to a wide range of carriers and fosters professional growth.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: Up to $100,000 annually + profit-sharing bonus opportunities & percentage of agency commission on assigned book

Responsibilities
- Manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial lines accounts, with a focus on condos and properties
- Handle general account servicing, including quoting new and renewal business
- Provide exceptional client experience and maintain strong client relationships
- Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless claims processing and certificate of insurance (COI) management
- Contribute to the growth and retention of the agency's book of business
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in commercial lines account management, preferably with large market experience
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is essential
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with generalist accounts, with a strong emphasis on condos and properties
- Preferred Background: Stable and steady career history, ideally with experience in larger agencies
- Location: Must reside within driving distance of MD, DC, PA, NJ, or DE for quarterly in-office meetings
