Commercial Lines Account Executive (CLAE)

Job Summary

Seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Lines Account Executive (CLAE) to join a dynamic and well-established team. As part of a reputable agency with a strong industry presence, you will have the opportunity to manage complex accounts, work with a variety of carriers, and provide exceptional service to the valued clients. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Health Benefits: 100% health insurance coverage for the employee.
  • Paid Time Off: 15 days of combined PTO and sick leave, plus 12 floating days per year.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service complex accounts with premiums exceeding $100,000, including contractors, trucking, and generalist accounts.
  • Handle accounts from start to finish ("soup to nuts") with minimal supervision.
  • Quote new and renewal business with both standard and E&S nonstandard carriers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
  • Demonstrate leadership potential with the opportunity to grow into a department manager role.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and independently, ensuring high-quality results.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial lines insurance; 10+ years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and work with both standard and E&S nonstandard carriers.
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance industry, including quoting and renewing business.
  • Experience with EPIC software is a plus but not required.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A track record of providing outstanding client service and building lasting relationships.
