Position: Marketing Account Executive – Commercial Lines

 

Compensation Package:

  • Salary Range: $125,000 – $220,000 (based on experience)

Role Overview

The Marketing Account Executive – Commercial Lines is responsible for leading and coordinating marketing activities for new and renewal business, while supporting Producers in sales and client service efforts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a consultative point of contact for clients, identifying needs and providing coverage recommendations with supporting rationale.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Participate in prospect meetings and direct mid-year reviews.
  • Collaborate with national leadership to drive Line of Business (LOB) strategy and initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and train other account service team members.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant insurance industry experience.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Broad knowledge of markets, policies, and coverage issues across multiple states and industries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills to guide, develop, and support team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build and maintain business relationships.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills when working with carriers and motivating staff.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving ability to analyze information and resolve client, market, or internal issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related applications.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree(s).
  • Additional insurance designations or certifications.
  • Extensive prior experience leading teams or managing complex projects.
