Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with carrier guidelines. This role involves handling account changes, remarketing existing business, managing renewals, and providing exceptional service to clients. Compensation Package

  • Competitive salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
  • 18 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 10 holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate customer inquiries and make informed decisions regarding coverage and account changes.
  • Manage the commercial renewal process, including communication with underwriters and clients.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and files in the agency management system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to coverage, claims, payments, audits, and policy changes.
  • Identify opportunities to round out existing accounts with additional products and services.
  • Remarket commercial accounts as needed, based on client or producer requests.
  • Run expiration reports and follow established procedures for renewals.
  • Assist producers with new business overflow and other tasks as required.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education, Training, and Work Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance servicing and quoting is highly preferred.
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance License in required lines, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.

  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • High level of dependability and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
