Broker's Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Broker's Assistant to join a team. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a wholesale brokerage setting, specifically in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, and will play a key role in supporting brokers with their daily operations.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k).
  • Work Environment: Fully remote position with company-provided equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist brokers with incoming submissions and gather supplemental information.
  • Complete ACORD forms and other necessary documentation.
  • Support brokers in managing binding business (approximately 70%) and brokerage business (approximately 30%).
  • Handle accounts with premiums ranging from $1,000 to $50,000, with an average of $10,000 to $15,000.
  • Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a wholesale brokerage setting, specifically in P&C insurance.
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Proficiency in completing ACORD forms and managing insurance submissions.
