Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Underwriting Support Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of the underwriting support team. 

Compensation:

  • $70,000 - $80,000/year

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in underwriting support, operations, or related functions within the insurance industry.
  • 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Commercial Auto insurance; exposure to other Commercial P&C lines is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance systems, workflow tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong communication and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the underwriting support staff to achieve departmental goals and service standards.
  • Oversee workflow management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy documentation.
  • Partner with Underwriters and leadership to enhance operational efficiency and support profitable growth.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify process improvements and leverage technology to streamline operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex underwriting support issues.
  • Collaborate across departments to align underwriting support functions with corporate objectives.
