Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Commercial Insurance Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, developing client relationships, and delivering tailored insurance solutions to commercial accounts with annual premiums of $30,000 or more. You’ll work closely with internal support teams and carrier partners to provide high-value clients with risk management strategies and comprehensive coverage options.
Key Responsibilities:

Business Development: Prospect, identify, and secure new commercial insurance clients with premium potential of $30K or higher.

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers, serving as a trusted advisor for their insurance needs.

Needs Analysis: Conduct in-depth risk assessments and coverage evaluations to design customized insurance programs.

Carrier Negotiations: Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive rates and coverage terms for complex accounts.

Sales Strategy: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow a book of high-value commercial clients across various industries.

Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional lines of coverage (e.g., workers’ comp, cyber liability, EPLI, etc.).

Renewals & Retention: Proactively manage policy renewals and client communications to ensure high retention rates and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in commercial insurance sales, account management, or brokerage.

Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 60 days).

Proven ability to build relationships with mid-size to large commercial clients.

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and risk management principles.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Self-starter with a hunter mentality and drive to meet or exceed production goals.
