We're looking for a Commercial Lines Insurance Placement Specialist to take ownership of quoting, binding, and moving business in our thriving Transportation division.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with internal teams to place business with partner carriers.

• Review and analyze existing books of business for consolidation opportunities.

• Run carrier reports and evaluate performance data.

• Independently manage assigned carrier projects.

• Distribute quotes, follow up on bind status, and ensure payment processing.

• Negotiate coverages and premiums for commercial transportation risks.

• Track and report business movement outcomes.

• Hit and manage monthly production goals.

🧠 What You Bring:

• Active P&C license with at least 5 years' experience in Commercial Lines.

• Strong working knowledge of transportation accounts (middle market).

• Background in Surplus Lines, Specialty Markets, or Carolinas region preferred.

• Solid Excel skills — formulas, formatting, analysis — and proficiency in MS Office.

• Experience with Applied/Epic or similar AMS preferred.

• Highly organized, detail-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills — able to problem solve and prioritize with minimal supervision.

• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.
