Private Client Account Manager
Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Client Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting our high-net-worth clients by delivering exceptional service and expertise in personal lines insurance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the private client space, a deep understanding of high-value accounts, and a commitment to building long-term client relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and efficient team as we expand into a new office in Charleston.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business with a focus on high-net-worth clients, including high-value homes, builders risk, flood, and other personal lines insurance.
- Bind and issue new business for producers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with carrier guidelines.
- Conduct full account reviews, audits, and present findings to clients.
- Handle day-to-day service requests, including policy changes and renewals.
- Collaborate with producers, account executives, and account managers to deliver seamless client experiences.
- Maintain strong relationships with carriers such as Cincinnati, Pure, Chubb, AIG, Vault, and others.
- Utilize EPIC software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications
- Licenses/Designations: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 5-10 years in the private client insurance space, preferably with a stable tenure at a single agency.
- Proven expertise in managing high-net-worth accounts and delivering exceptional client service.
- Familiarity with carriers and markets in the high-value personal lines space.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in EPIC software is preferred but not required (training available).
- Team-oriented mindset with adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with producers to bind and issue new business.
- Conduct renewal quoting and binding, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Address client inquiries and service requests, maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
- Perform account reviews and audits to identify opportunities for coverage enhancements.
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflows and balanced workloads.
- Participate in a hybrid work environment, with remote work on Mondays and Fridays once the Charleston office opens.
