Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the organization, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Provide expert advice to clients regarding their personal insurance needs, including home, auto, and other coverage options.
  • Proactively manage client accounts, handling policy renewals, amendments, and coverage changes.
  • Process applications, endorsements, and claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients by identifying their needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Educate clients about policies, procedures, and policy updates while ensuring transparency.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional policies or services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting and claims departments, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive products.
  • Maintain organized client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Support team members in achieving departmental goals and performance benchmarks.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in an account management, customer service, or related role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of personal insurance lines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex terms and policies clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with agency management software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience as an Account Manager handling personal lines insurance.
