Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, specializing in the management and servicing of commercial insurance accounts. You will be responsible for fostering strong client relationships, coordinating policy renewals, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Coordinate and process policy renewals, endorsements, and policy changes in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with insurance carriers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing on behalf of clients.
  • Provide clients with consultation and education on insurance coverage, risk management strategies, and available options.
  • Handle client inquiries, claims, and billing questions, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Manage account documentation, including preparing proposals, schedules, certificates of insurance, and other required materials.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, policy forms, and regulations to provide expert guidance.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial lines insurance industry, or a related field.
  • Active TX P&C (property and casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and claims procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service and relationship management.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and inclusive team environment.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
