Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of commercial insurance accounts, offering tailored solutions, and working collaboratively to deliver customer-centered policies that align with business needs. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for a designated portfolio of commercial business accounts, providing proactive communication and personalized service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to fully understand their insurance needs and propose appropriate coverage options.
  • Manage day-to-day servicing of accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, claims assistance, and policy reviews.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and internal stakeholders to secure the best insurance terms and competitive pricing for clients.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive proposals, coverage reviews, and other client-facing documentation.
  • Educate clients about commercial insurance products, market trends, and risk management strategies in clear terms.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer inquiries and concerns, maintaining high levels of satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications, documents, and transactions using internal agency management system.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, trends, and emerging risks to proactively make recommendations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and continuing education to maintain licensing and enhance professional development.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 2-3+ years of proven experience as an Account Manager within the commercial insurance or personal insurance sector.
  • State insurance license for Property & Casualty insurance required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, risk management practices, and underwriting processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex information.
  • Proactive problem-solver with exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using agency management software, customer relationship management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
