Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, maintaining strong, positive relationships.
- Analyze client insurance needs, recommend appropriate coverage options, and present tailored solutions.
- Facilitate policy renewals, endorsements, and mid-term changes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements for clients.
- Review policy documents for accuracy and ensure proper documentation is maintained in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service that exceeds expectations.
- Work closely with internal teams, such as underwriters and claims specialists, to manage client accounts effectively.
- Educate clients on risk management strategies and new insurance products or services.
- Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for additional products or coverage expansions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and competitive products.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry, or equivalent role.
- Previous Real Estate and Commercial Property experience is required.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in insurance management systems and office productivity tools.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $80k-$100k (based on experience).
