Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service and manage their personal insurance needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who excels in building relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines insurance clients, ensuring exceptional customer support and satisfaction.
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying clients' needs, and recommending coverage options tailored to their unique requirements.
  • Process policy renewals, endorsements, and claims efficiently while maintaining accurate client files.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and secure suitable coverage options.
  • Educate clients on insurance products, policy terms, and coverage options to help them make informed decisions.
  • Proactively conduct account reviews to ensure adequate coverage and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Resolve client inquiries and concerns promptly, fostering trust and long-term relationships.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market changes, and new product offerings to provide the best possible solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to team goals and initiatives, promoting an inclusive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant insurance industry experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse clientele.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to assess client needs, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as agency management systems, CRMs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Team-oriented mindset and commitment to fostering an inclusive workplace.
