Personal Lines Account Manager
REMOTE IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. (ACTIVE P&C LICENSE REQUIRED)
$55-65k+
Position Overview
The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a book of personal insurance clients, ensuring high-quality customer service, policy retention, and coverage recommendations. This role involves working closely with clients, carriers, and producers to provide tailored insurance solutions that meet individual needs.
Key Responsibilities

Client Management:
- Maintain and grow relationships with personal lines clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
- Address client inquiries regarding policies, coverage options, billing, and claims assistance.
- Conduct policy reviews and recommend appropriate coverages based on client needs.

Policy Processing & Administration:
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Work with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and bind policies.
- Ensure all client and policy records are accurate and up to date in the agency management system.

Sales & Retention:
- Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to maximize client coverage and retention.
- Assist in remarketing accounts to secure the best terms and pricing.
- Follow up on renewals and proactively address potential issues.

Carrier & Underwriting Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters.
- Stay up to date on carrier guidelines, products, and market trends.

Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and agency procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation of client communications, policy changes, and coverage recommendations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2+ years in personal lines insurance account management, customer service, or a related role.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License required
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) and carrier portals.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong ability to communicate, resolve issues, and build lasting client relationships.
- Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high-net-worth personal lines accounts.
- Knowledge of multiple carrier guidelines and underwriting standards.
- Sales or account growth experience.
