A sophisticated, resource-rich insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to join their growing Raleigh, NC team. This is a strategic, client-facing role supporting a high-profile book of business across construction, manufacturing, and large commercial sectors.

The Role:

Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive
Location: Raleigh, NC
Reports To: Director of Client Services
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic lead for middle-to-large market commercial clients

  • Manage ongoing insurance program execution, including renewals and service delivery

  • Maintain strong communication with clients and producers

  • Oversee coverage structure, marketing strategy (with internal support), and renewal cycles

  • Focus on relationships — not just transactions — with long-term retention goals

Book & Clients:

  • Industries include: Construction, Manufacturing, and Agriculture (plus standard commercial)

  • Book value ranges from $750K to $1.2M

  • Supported by an internal Account Manager, Claims Team, and Carrier Marketing

  • Mix of new and renewal business responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active P&C license required

  • 5+ years of commercial insurance experience required

  • Ideally 7–10 years and comfortable with large, complex accounts

  • Strong strategic thinking and client relationship management skills

  • Background with Applied Epic preferred

  • Industry designations (CIC, CRM, etc.) are a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
