Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for commercial insurance clients, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with insurance underwriters to negotiate terms and coverage options for clients.
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, outlining coverage options and pricing.
  • Monitor clients' insurance policies, ensuring accurate documentation and timely renewal processes.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in insurance policies to provide clients with updated information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any client issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • CRIS insurance designation preferred.
  • Experience servicing generalist or construction accounts in the middle to large market space.
  • At least 2 years of relevant insurance industry experience required.
  • Previous experience servicing accounts over $100k in premium - required.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and regulations.
  • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software or CRM systems.
