Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and cultivating positive relationships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts, including but not limited to auto, home, and umbrella policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Provide personalized and responsive customer service, including handling inquiries, policy changes, and claims assistance.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, process policy endorsements, and ensure accurate policy documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market changes, and regulatory requirements to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
