Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters
- Provide prompt and professional service to clients, including addressing inquiries and concerns
- Analyze risk exposures and provide appropriate coverage recommendations
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewals to clients
- Monitor policy endorsements, audits, and other transactions to ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling opportunities
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
- Assist in resolving client claims and advocating on their behalf
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant insurance industry experience
- A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
- Proficiency in insurance principles, products, and procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
