Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Insurance Assistant to join our team. As an Insurance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our commercial insurance department and providing exceptional service to our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist the commercial insurance account managers with various tasks, including policy administration, claims processing, and client communication.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for policy renewals and new business applications.
- Prepare and maintain accurate client files and documentation in compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide administrative support to the commercial insurance team, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining databases.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely service delivery to clients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with insurance industry practices, policies, and procedures is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
Day-to-day
