Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial/Personal Insurance Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance and excellent customer service skills. This role will involve assisting clients with their commercial and personal insurance needs, as well as providing administrative support to the agency.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries and provide information to clients regarding their insurance policies
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements
- Assist clients with claims submissions and follow-ups
- Maintain client records and documentation in an organized manner
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and policy information
- Provide administrative support to agency staff, including data entry and filing
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve any issues or concerns
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous insurance industry experience
- Strong understanding of commercial and personal insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using insurance agency management systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License (or willingness to obtain)
