Marine Underwriter & Insurance Broker

Established agency seeking to hire a Marine Underwriter & Insurance Broker to join their team. 

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate is responsible for day-to-day underwriter responsibilities and broker responsibilities that arise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for renewals, cross-selling, maintaining relationships to grow the book of business, and more.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of marine underwriting experience 
• Functional knowledge of Marine/Commercial Lines rating experience and commercial primary insurance coverages: Hull, Liability, excess
• Property and Casualty Insurance License-Required
• Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
• Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent technical/analytical skills
• Detail oriented as must.
