Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Personal Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our portfolio of personal insurance accounts. You will provide exceptional customer service, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate insurance solutions to meet clients' needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, including homeowners, auto, and umbrella policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide personalized solutions
- Review existing policies, identify coverage gaps, and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries, claims, and policy changes
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and process policy endorsements
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines
- Work closely with insurance producers and other team members to ensure a seamless client experience
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in the insurance industry
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry, with a focus on personal lines
- In-depth knowledge of personal insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CISR, CIC) are a plus
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
