Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Employee Benefits Team Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and work with a diverse range of clients in the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Employee Benefits team in managing carrier relations, workflow, and compliance
  • Handle accounts as needed, including quoting new and renewal business for fully insured, self-funded, and level-funded plans
  • Work on a floating book with a total of $6M among the team, handling groups of 2 to 1500+ and managing a book of business with a significant number of policies

Qualifications:

  • L&H license required
  • 5+ years of agency experience, with a high level of Account Executive or leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Applied EPIC software
  • Strong project management skills and experience with compliance-related work for Employee Benefits plans
  • Extroverted personality with the ability to flex to various stakeholders, including producers

Day-to-day:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Employee Benefits team, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role will involve working closely with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders to deliver exceptional service and support.
