Compensation:
- $170,000 - $210,000/year

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional liability underwriting.
- In-depth knowledge of professional liability insurance products, risk assessment, and underwriting principles.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with brokers and agents.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business within the professional liability segment, adhering to company guidelines and risk appetite.
- Manage a portfolio of professional liability accounts, ensuring a balance between growth objectives and risk management.
- Ensure all underwriting activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Stay informed about market conditions, competitor products, and emerging risks in the professional liability sector.
- Work closely with other departments, including claims, risk control, and product development, to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Lead and oversee a small group of Underwriters
