Personal Lines Account Manager / Producer
Overview
A leading agency is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager/Producer to join their team. This role will require a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for building client relationships, and a deep understanding of the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Proactively identify opportunities to review and update clients’ insurance policies based on their evolving needs and changes in the market.
- Generate new business by cultivating leads, networking, and leveraging existing client relationships.
- Utilize AMS to accurately record client information, policy details, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate coverage terms and ensure competitive quotes for clients.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with informed guidance and advice.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance required, with a strong background in account management and/or sales.
- Proficiency in AMS systems, particularly AMS360.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining strong client retention.
- Knowledge of insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
- A valid insurance license is required and relevant industry certifications are preferred.
