Commercial Insurance Sales Executive (Must reside in Pennsylvania)
Job Summary
An established insurance agency is seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Executive to join their team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector. You will work closely with clients to assess their insurance needs, recommend appropriate coverage, and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
- Assess clients' risk profiles and insurance needs, providing expert advice on commercial insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals to clients, outlining coverage options, terms, and pricing.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers on behalf of clients to secure the most favorable coverage.
- Ensure accurate policy issuance and documentation, manage policy endorsements, and assist with claims when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and ensure all transactions and documentation are in compliance with industry standards and laws.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company.
- Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to take on other relevant duties assigned to contribute to the agency's overall success.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Possesses effective negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and risk management; demonstrates the ability to provide expert advice to clients.
- Experienced in building and maintaining positive client relationships, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred Agency Management System Experience: EPIC
- Previous experience with retail hardware stores, building material dealers, equipment & party rental, lumber yards, wood product manufacturers, etc. is preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an Insurance Producer or in a similar insurance sales role.
- Knowledge of insurance agency operations as they pertain to sales.
- Proficiency in sales, with a track record demonstrating ability to sell - required.
