Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support while also managing financial records and transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, as well as exceptional organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
  • Reconciling bank statements and financial data
  • Maintaining and organizing financial records and documentation
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and correspondence
  • Coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal departments
  • Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Detail-oriented and accurate in handling financial data
  • Experience with bookkeeping, insurance, commission, payments, agency billing, AR,  

Day-to-day

  • Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks
  • Assisting with payroll processing and documentation
  • Organizing and filing financial records
  • Coordinating administrative tasks and correspondence
