Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support while also managing financial records and transactions. This position requires a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, as well as exceptional organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
- Reconciling bank statements and financial data
- Maintaining and organizing financial records and documentation
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, data entry, and correspondence
- Coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal departments
- Collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper, or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Detail-oriented and accurate in handling financial data
- Experience with bookkeeping, insurance, commission, payments, agency billing, AR,
Day-to-day
- Handling accounts payable and receivable tasks
