Responsibilities
- Lead a team of benefits specialists to ensure efficient and accurate benefits administration
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the overall benefits process and customer satisfaction
- Act as a point of contact for escalated benefit inquiries and provide solutions in a timely and empathetic manner
- Conduct regular training sessions to educate employees on available benefits and enrollment processes
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Strong knowledge of benefits administration, including medical and voluntary benefits
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with a focus on employee development and performance management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy and understanding
- Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions and recommendations
- Knowledge of claims management and experience in resolving complex claims issues is a plus
Day-to-day
- Lead team meetings to discuss current priorities, address challenges, and share best practices
- Review and approve benefit claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with the HR department to communicate updates regarding benefits and answer any employee inquiries
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support for continuous improvement
