Job Summary
A rapidly growing insurance agency is seeking an experienced Finance & Operations Manager to join their team. This position will play a critical role in enhancing efficiency across all departments, ensuring smooth financial and operational processes that drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage financial budgets and expenditures, including the tracking of agency commissions.
- Implement operational strategies and provide leadership with recommendations based on the latest industry and market trends.
- Support the development, review, and monitoring of operational plans to ensure goals are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new initiatives and system enhancements.
- Coordinate the management and flow of legal documents.
- Streamline and optimize processes from quoting, binding, servicing, and scaling operations.
- Continuously improve workflows and introduce innovations for operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage the policy processing team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Make strategic decisions that impact key areas, including sales operations, marketing, financial management, partnerships, and new business ventures.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience, specifically in insurance agency operations.
- Proven experience in financial management and auditing.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance lines, including group benefits and property & casualty.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly proficient with technology and various operational systems.
Compensation Package
