About Us:
At The Jonus Group, we are a leading provider of specialized insurance staffing solutions, with a focus on workers compensation and loss control. We are seeking an experienced Michigan Workers Compensation Loss Control Consultant to join our client's team.
Compensation:
- $85,000 - $95,000/year (depending on experience)
- Annual bonus potential

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workers compensation loss control, safety consulting, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Michigan workers compensation laws (MIOSHA) and OSHA regulations.
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and loss control evaluations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate in Risk Management (ARM) are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of client workplaces to identify potential safety risks and hazards.
- Develop customized safety and risk management programs aimed at reducing workers compensation claims.
- Provide guidance and training to employers on injury prevention, workplace safety, and loss control strategies.
- Collaborate with the claims team to analyze claim trends and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Michigan workers compensation laws and OSHA regulations.
