A full-service independent agency specializing in property and casualty insurance is looking for a Controller to join their team!
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Controller. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role will be primarily based in Upstate NY area, with flexibility for remote work as needed.
Qualifications
- Financial Reporting, Budgeting, and Compliance skills
- Experience in managing financial operations and analyzing data
- Knowledge of insurance industry regulations and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Insurance Accounting Experience Preferred not required
