Agency Leader
Job Summary
Are you a forward-thinking and engaging individual, eager to advance in your professional Insurance career? If so, an established agency is currently seeking an Agency Leader! This senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing financial efficiencies, personnel management, company policy adherence, and business development.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with company leadership to strategize and implement methods enhancing sales, reducing costs, and optimizing efficiency.
- Review activity reports to ensure sales quotas are met and premiums collected.
- Interpret, implement, and enforce company policies effectively.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive activity reports.
- Monitor and respond to competitive opportunities.
- Proactively pursue business opportunities by engaging new/existing accounts and recruiting experienced insurance agents or acquiring independent agencies.
- Align staffing levels with sales needs to ensure optimal customer service.
- Develop annual budgets and manage expenditures while promoting cost-saving initiatives.
- Lead training and staff development efforts.
- Represent the Agency in client and vendor interactions.
- Perform other assigned duties.
- Expected travel: 30%-50%.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience in insurance agency management.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Holds an active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Current valid driver's license.
- 8+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Agency management systems, contact management, internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
- Proven experience in growth leadership and identifying business opportunities.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Compensation Package
