Associate Claims Advisor - Hybrid/Fully Remote

Established agency seeking a detail-oriented person who demonstrates strong knowledge and understanding of the insurance claims process across both Personal and Commercial Lines. The candidate will be comfortable communicating with clients, carriers, adjusters, and vendors while effectively monitoring claims from initial reporting through resolution.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Experience handling Personal and Commercial Lines claims.
• Ability to receive, report, and document new claims with insurance carriers.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish and maintain accurate electronic claim files.
• Ability to monitor open claims, including milestones, reserve changes, settlement activity, outstanding items, and claim closures.
• Ability to identify delayed or stalled claims and follow up with adjusters and carriers to ensure timely progress.
• Prior experience in a client-facing role, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Ability to communicate claim status, answer general claim questions, and explain next steps clearly and professionally.
• Demonstrated empathy and professionalism when assisting clients through difficult or complex claim situations.
• Ability to work alongside the Claims Manager to advocate for timely and fair claim resolution.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain thorough documentation of claim activity, conversations, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
• Ability to organize claim files in accordance with agency documentation and compliance standards.
• Ability to assist the Claims Manager with daily workflow management, claim diaries, reports, summaries, department projects, and process improvements.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to support the Claims Department and overall agency operations.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-up skills with the ability to escalate concerns to the Claims Manager when appropriate.
• Experience working in an insurance agency or brokerage setting preferred.
