Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Claims Director, Property & Casualty to join a growing Claims Compliance and Quality Assurance team. This is a critical role for an accomplished insurance claims compliance professional or attorney with deep knowledge of insurance claims regulations, processes, and technology. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the organization from regulatory risks, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in claims handling practices.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications).

Responsibilities

As the Technical Claims Director, you will:

• Manage and maintain a 50-state claims database.
• Monitor legislation, DOI bulletins, court decisions, and statutory changes; manage backlog and implement targeted compliance training.
• Develop and oversee controls related to Medicare, OFAC, Child Support Lien Network, and other federal protocols.
• Collaborate with Claims Technical, Legal, and IT teams to design controls and workflows aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and complaints.
• Deliver training and provide legal support to internal teams and vendors.
• Develop audit programs and dashboards to monitor compliance effectiveness.
• Oversee and support technology-related compliance integrations.
• Provide executive reporting, trends analysis, and regulatory insights.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in claims compliance, insurance regulation, or legal operations.
• A degree in law, risk management, or a related field is required; J.D. is highly preferred.
• Advanced insurance compliance certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIPP, CAMS, CRCM) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of claims handling regulations, Medicare protocols, and market conduct standards.
• Experience managing compliance in a 50-state claims environment across multiple lines of business.
• Knowledge of Medicare Secondary Payer requirements and Section 111 reporting.
• Strong research and policy writing skills.
• Excellent collaboration, project management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with regulatory audit preparation and response.

Commercial Real Estate Insurance Lender Compliance Manager (Remote)

To support that growth and streamline our lender compliance processes, we're creating a brand-new vertical — and we're hiring a Lender Compliance Manager to lead the charge.

The Role

As our Lender Compliance Manager, you’ll take ownership of centralizing all lender-related insurance compliance communications — especially involving Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac-backed loans. You'll work cross-functionally with Account Management (AM) teams, lenders, and insurance carriers to ensure timely, consistent, and compliant responses to lender demands.

This role will take reactive, fragmented work off the plates of multiple teams and consolidate it into a focused, strategic function. You’ll create best practices, establish workflows, and potentially lead a team of analysts in the future.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the central point of contact for all lender insurance compliance inquiries and requests

• Review insurance policies and certificates to ensure compliance with lender requirements

• Manage and resolve COI (Certificates of Insurance) and master policy-related issues

• Work closely with lender servicing entities

• Standardize communication and ensure consistency in compliance responses

• Develop and document internal best practices and workflows

• Identify trends and proactively address recurring lender issues

• Partner with Account Management to remove compliance burden from their workload

• Lay the foundation for a scalable Lender Compliance vertical, with growth potential into leadership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a compliance, insurance servicing, or lender-facing role — preferably within a bank, mortgage servicer, or insurance brokerage

• Strong working knowledge of lender insurance requirements, especially Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac-backed loan processes

• High attention to detail, critical thinking, and organizational skills

• Ability to handle high-volume requests with consistency and professionalism

• Experience interacting with master policies, COIs, and waivers

• Strong communication skills — written and verbal

• Proactive, process-driven, and capable of building new systems from scratch

• 2-20 (P&C) license required or ability to obtain within 30–60 days

• Previous experience with servicing/banking compliance teams

Job Title: Compliance Specialist

Prominent specialty insurance carrier is seeking a Compliance Specialist to join their growing team. The Compliance Specialist will work directly with multiple departments, including Legal, Underwriting, Actuarial, and IT, during the process of filing forms and rates, and implementing those filings internally once approvals are received. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development and preparation of all specialty rate, rule, and form filings.
• Prepare and submit specialty filings via SERFF/RAMP.
• Review state objections and submit approved responses to applicable states.
• Oversee the need for filing extensions, resubmissions, and withdrawals while taking into consideration state restrictions and deadlines.
• Communicate with regulators as needed to facilitate filing approvals.
• Coordinate and document all activities surrounding the filing, approval, and disapproval of all specialty filings.
• Assist in the implementation of approved rates, rules, and forms, including updating internal tracking tools and communicating with IT on any rate, rule or form changes required in the system.
• Understand product initiatives and participate in the product planning process by analyzing competitor products and tracking state regulatory changes.
• Assist the Compliance Manager in the development of compliance training materials and best practices.
• Help facilitate a response to both internal and State Insurance Department audits, including coordinating with other departments and compiling necessary information.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in the insurance regulatory/state filings field.
• Advanced working knowledge of the SERFF or RAMP system.
• Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational and project/time management skills.
• Flexible and open to a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
