Commercial Account Manager/Executive
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Account Manager/Executive to join a team. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse book of business, ranging from small to large accounts, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. This role requires expertise in commercial insurance, particularly in construction, contracting, real estate, and generalist accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling accounts from start to finish, utilizing AMS 360 or similar systems.
Compensation Package
- Competitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience and holding a New York license).
- Commission structure: 30% on third new and renewal accounts.
Responsibilities
- Manage a $5M premium book of business, handling all aspects from inception to renewal ("soup to nuts").
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders.
- Handle a range of accounts, including small, medium, and large businesses, with a focus on commercial insurance in construction, contracting, real estate, and generalist sectors.
- Utilize AMS 360 or similar applied systems to manage accounts efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and account management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Account Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance.
- Experience managing a diverse book of business, including accounts in construction, contracting, real estate, and generalist sectors.
- Proficiency in AMS 360 or similar applied systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- New York insurance license preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
