About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Commercial Account Manager to deliver exceptional service and support across a diverse book of commercial accounts. In this role, you’ll be the trusted partner clients rely on—helping them secure the right coverage, supporting agency producers, and ensuring every detail is handled with accuracy and care.

What You’ll Do

Champion Client Service

  • Provide outstanding service for all assigned commercial lines accounts, ensuring every client feels informed, supported, and valued.

  • Oversee marketing and placement of new business, as well as efficient remarketing and renewal processes.

  • Handle assigned House accounts with professionalism and attention to detail.

Drive Account Success

  • Prepare complete and accurate new and renewal submissions, including gathering loss runs and essential underwriting information.

  • Perform cross-sell and account-rounding activities to strengthen client relationships and expand coverage opportunities.

  • Review policies, endorsements, and related documents to ensure accuracy and quality.

Collaborate & Support

  • Partner closely with agency producers and internal staff to support both new business and renewals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.

  • Coordinate with company claims representatives as needed to help resolve claim-related issues.

Stay Sharp & Compliant

  • Maintain an active P&C license and complete all required continuing education.

Key Processing Responsibilities

  • Process daily transactions for all carriers efficiently and accurately.

  • Prepare proposals and submissions for both new and renewal business.

  • Bind coverage promptly for new and renewal policies.

  • Keep thorough and organized documentation of all client and policy information using Applied/EPIC.

  • Notify insureds of pending cancellations and follow up on payments and reinstatements.

  • Manage policy change requests with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Monitor accounts receivable for your assigned book of business.

  • Maintain current activity lists and follow-ups to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
