Job Title: Customer Service Insurance Representative

 

Job Summary

An established agency is seeking an experienced Customer Service Insurance Representative to join their growing team. Responsibilities include supporting the servicing and marketing of mid-to-large commercial accounts. This position plays a key role in managing renewal and new business activities across various industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a solid understanding of commercial lines coverage, and the ability to work proactively with both clients and carriers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day servicing of a diverse commercial book, including accounts in agriculture, manufacturing, pest control, contracting, and transportation.
  • Handle the full renewal process, including gathering exposure information, marketing to carriers, and preparing proposals.
  • Quote both new and renewal business in coordination with producers and underwriters.
  • Provide responsive customer service to clients, ensuring all service needs are addressed accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain up-to-date account information and documentation within the agency management system.
  • Collaborate with producers and team members to ensure seamless handling of client accounts.

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant insurance experience is preferred.
  • Prior experience handling accounts in industries such as agriculture (e.g., growers, shippers, packers), manufacturing, contracting, or transportation.
  • Strong familiarity with quoting both new and renewal business.
  • Experience with AMS360 is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.

 

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $60K–$65K (based on experience).
