Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Agent to join a well-established and growing insurance agency. With over 40 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health/Employee Benefits (L&H/EB), pride ourselves on fostering a supportive, down-to-earth culture with a strong focus on employee satisfaction and retention. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will manage a portfolio of standard personal lines accounts and play a key role in delivering exceptional service to thr clients.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Commission: $1,250 - $3,000 monthly from inbound sales, in addition to the base salary
- Benefits:
- 95% employer-paid health insurance
- 401(k) with a 6% employer match (eligible after 90 days)

- Paid Time Off (PTO) based on experience
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of standard personal lines accounts, providing A-Z account management.
- Handle inbound leads and quote requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Close sales from inbound leads (no outbound sales required).
- Quote new and renewal business.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required. Additional designations are a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of insurance experience (captive or independent).
- Preferred: 2 years of experience in an independent insurance agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
