Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Technical Assistant to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in supporting our service team by handling ID cards, policy detailing, and addressing basic client inquiries.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 (commensurate with experience)
- 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Process ID cards and policy details with accuracy and efficiency.
- Respond to basic client inquiries via phone and email, ensuring clear and professional communication.
- Collaborate with the service team and Account Manager to support client needs.
- Utilize Epic software to manage and update client accounts.
- Work with carriers such as CHUBB, Cincinnati, Travelers, FCCI, Selective, and Philadelphia to ensure seamless policy management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong phone communication skills, attention to detail, ability to articulate clearly, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Work Environment: Must be able to work onsite in Pittsburgh for the first six months. Flexibility for a hybrid schedule may be considered thereafter.
